1. Vitamix A2300 Ascent Series Smart Blender
I grew up with a cheap blender that left chunks in my smoothies. It wasn’t a big deal until I started blending kale and spinach into my smoothies and the chunks of spinach and kale were so large that I felt like I was chewing my smooth. Even the Ninja blender, that was priced at just $100, could not get my smoothies super smooth. Enter the Vitamix, this bad boy can blend up veggies and make them just as smooth as honey butter on a hot roll! You can see the green spinach in a smoothie, but you are no longer chewing it. It is also great for purėe-ing sauces. Yep. This makes the best tomato basil soup and all your friends will think you went to La Madeline and bought soup to go! The new Ascent blender even comes with a built in digital time and it looks amazing! It’s sure to be a real crowd pleaser for any fitness fanatic or mom – or anyone who loves to mix things up!
2. Dremel Light 7600
This is the coolest tool with so many uses! Recently I designed a cool sign for my boyfriend. It was made from MDF and had to be glued together. Some of the glue hardened and had to be filed off. This Dremel tool made it so easy! Another great thing you can do with this tool is file your nails. Yes. I said it. File your nails. Ever have toenail fungus? Well, part of the problem with toenail fungus is that medicines and creams often can’t get into the toenail to kill the fungus. With this tool you can file down the toenail and then put some Emu Aid on the toe. After years of dealing with yellow toenails on both of my big toes, this was the only thing that worked for me!
3. Smart Plugs by Teckin
I love using my Amazon Alexa to turn my lights on and off, but that worked because the bulbs were Wifi LED bulbs. That’s super cool, but when I’m laying in bed, I often want to turn on or off other things in the house that are plugged into a wall socket. The Christmas Tree, the essential oil diffuser – whatever it is, it’s nice being able to turn things on and off with a simple command to Alexa. Plus, you can put things into a routine where they can be turned on and off at a specific time. Yes please! Now you no longer have to use those antiquated wall sockets that could only be set for one setting. Now, with a smart plug, your options are unlimited!
4. LED Multicolor Lightbulbs
I love a good LED lightbulb! What is great about these bulbs is their ability to be controlled with your phone or with Amazon Alexa. You can preset colors for certain moods and then tell Alexa to turn your lights on to that setting. I like a super low light when I’m getting ready for bed, but in the morning I like a bright light. So I can set these lights to do all kinds or things, including turning on a red or blue light. Sometimes it’s fun to have a room a certain color for a holiday party.
5. 4th Generation Echo Dot
I don’t know what I would do without my Amazon Alexa. I also have a Google device that plays music and videos, but my Alexa device just seems to work better. She seems to have better hearing and integrating her with my other smart devices has been a breeze. I highly recommend this new 4th generation for superior sound quality and a cool new look.
